A letter came from your landlord, a company, your insurer or an authority, and it needs an answer. Add a photo of it to the chat with Claude, ChatGPT, Grok or Mistral Vibe. Your AI reads it and writes the reply with you. We print the reply and hand it to the post in your name.
For one page, a standard letter costs from €2.20 in Europe and a registered letter from €5.90. US Certified Mail costs $14.99 (US senders). The preview shows the full price before you approve.
Why a letter, not e-mail
Many letters can be answered by e-mail. A letter is better when:
- The letter asks for an answer in writing, or gives only a postal address. For a credit card billing error, for example, your written notice must reach the creditor's address for billing errors (12 CFR 1026.13(b)).
- The date of receipt matters. In Germany, a statement to another person takes effect when it reaches that person (§ 130 BGB, in German). A registered letter records the delivery, a standard letter only the handover to the post (what a registered letter proves).
- You need to show it arrived. For a defect notice to a landlord, a German tenants' association says that e-mail alone is no suitable proof of receipt (Mieterverein München, in German).
Example to copy
Here is a photo of a letter from my energy supplier. Tell me what it asks for and which deadline it names. Then help me write a reply that disputes the price increase, and send it as a letter. Ask me for every detail.
How it works
- Add the photo. Add a photo or a scan of the letter to the chat. Your AI app reads it. The photo does not come to our server.
- Understand it. Your AI tells you what the letter asks for and any deadline that the letter names. Check the deadline on the letter.
- Write the reply together. Your AI asks you for each name, number, date and amount. It does not fill in example values. The reply usually goes to the address on the letter.
- Check the preview and the price. The PDF is exactly what we print.
- Say yes. We print the reply and hand it to the post. You get the status by e-mail.
Typical replies
- Confirm or decline an appointment, for example a repair or a meter reading.
- Dispute a bill or a price increase.
- Cancel a contract after a price increase, where the contract allows it. Ending a job in Germany, or a home lease in Germany or Austria, needs your handwritten signature. Our server refuses these letters.
- Ask for a copy of your personal data (GDPR access request).
- Tell your insurer about a claim or about a letter you received.
Official decisions and court mail
This page does not cover objections to official decisions or court mail. A decision or a court letter states its own form and deadline. A German Mahnbescheid (court payment order), for example, comes with its own form for the objection (§ 692 ZPO, in German). Check the form and the deadline on the letter itself.
FAQ
Does my photo go to Agent Letter Desk?
No. Your AI app reads the photo in the chat; its own privacy terms apply. Our server gets only the reply that your AI prepares. We keep its text until the letter reaches a final state, for example sent or cancelled. Then we delete it. To mail a copy of the letter with your reply, you upload it yourself as an enclosure. See our privacy policy.
Can my AI tell me if I must pay, or which deadline applies?
No. Your AI tells you what the letter says. Neither your AI nor we give legal advice or calculate deadlines. When the letter is unclear, ask a consumer advice centre or a lawyer.
Does the reply carry my signature?
No, it carries your typed name. Most replies need no signature. Our server refuses letters that by law need a handwritten signature: ending a job in Germany, or ending a home lease in Germany or Austria.
Standard or registered letter?
A standard letter records the handover to the post. A registered letter also records the delivery; we offer it to the US, Germany, Belgium and Spain. Choose it when you must show that your reply arrived, for example before a deadline.
When do I hear what happened?
We send you an e-mail when the post has the letter, and when it cannot be delivered or comes back. For a registered letter, you get the tracking number. To the US and Germany, you also get the post's tracking link, which shows the delivery. Your AI can also show the status.
Use it with Claude, ChatGPT, Grok or Mistral Vibe
Before the launch, only invited testers can create an account. Everyone else can join the waitlist.
Add Agent Letter Desk to your AI app once, with this server URL: https://
- Claude (claude.ai, desktop and mobile): Add to Claude opens Claude with the name and the URL filled in. Select Add, then Connect. Sign in and allow access. In a chat, select + › Connectors and turn on Agent Letter Desk. By hand: Customize › Connectors › + Add › Add custom connector, then paste the URL.
- ChatGPT (chatgpt.com): copy the URL and open ChatGPT. Plugins › Add › Add custom MCP server. Paste the URL, choose OAuth, sign in and allow access. Worked on the Free plan when we checked (13 October 2026). OpenAI decides which plans can add one.
- Grok (grok.com): copy the URL and open Grok's connectors. New connector › Custom. Enter a name and paste the URL. Sign in and allow access in the window that opens. In a chat, type @ and pick Agent Letter Desk (Grok uses a connector only when you select it).
- Mistral Vibe (chat.mistral.ai, formerly Le Chat): copy the URL and open Mistral Vibe's connectors. + Add Connector › Custom MCP Connector. Enter a name without spaces, such as AgentLetterDesk, and paste the URL. Sign in and allow access. In a chat, select + › Connectors › Agent Letter Desk (without this step, Mistral Vibe may write the letter itself). Works on the free plan.
You sign in with your e-mail address or your Google account. Then ask your AI for the letter. You check the preview and the price. Nothing goes out without your yes.
