This page is for you if you live in one of our 33 sender countries and need a recorded letter to a person, a company, a landlord or an authority in Belgium. Your AI app writes the letter with you. We print it and hand it to bpost, the Belgian post, in your name. You skip the post office.
What the registered letter records
We send a Registered letter (bpost recommandé / aangetekend). bpost records the posting and the delivery. There is no signature. On its own, the receipt is proof of posting, not proof of delivery. Proof of delivery needs an acknowledgement of receipt (avis de réception). We do not offer it yet. bpost says that in some cases the law requires an acknowledgement of receipt. bpost sells it at its post offices, at Post Points and in the My bpost app (bpost FAQ, in French).
bpost says that its receipt (the proof of deposit) is a legally valid document in a dispute (bpost). Track & Trace notices, bpost says, are for information only and have no legal value (bpost FAQ). We cannot get bpost's records for you yet, including the receipt. This is planned.
A registered letter does not prove what the letter says. Save the PDF preview as your copy: we do not keep it. We also send a Standard letter (bpost Non-priority): we record when the post receives the letter, and the post does not record the delivery.
When it is worth it
- The recipient has no e-mail address or does not answer.
- You may have to show that you sent a notice, and when.
- You withdraw from a purchase made online, by phone or at your door, usually within 14 days (Your Europe). It is in time if you send it before the period ends, and you must be able to prove that you withdrew (Directive 2011/83/EU, Article 11).
- A contract, the recipient or an authority asks for a letter. bpost suggests registered mail, for example, to end a rental, insurance or energy contract (bpost FAQ). Some of these letters may need your handwritten signature (see the FAQ).
A standard letter is enough when you only need the letter to be sent. More: When a letter is the right choice.
How it works
Connect once. In your AI app, add Agent Letter Desk as a connector and paste
https://agentletterdesk.com/mcp. Our sign-in page opens. Sign in with Google or with a code that we send by e-mail. Enter your full name once, then allow the access.Ask. Tell your AI app who gets the letter, the address in Belgium and what the letter must say. It asks for anything that is missing, such as an order number or a date. It writes in Dutch unless you ask for French, German or another language. For example:
Send a registered letter to the shop in Brussels that sold me a sofa online. I withdraw from the purchase, order 4711, delivered on 2 October. Write it in French.
Check the preview and the price. Your AI app shows a link to the PDF preview, the recipient, the service, what it records and the price. The PDF is exactly what we print.
Say yes. Our print partner prints the letter and hands it to the post.
Our server, not only your AI app, enforces the rules. No letter goes out without a preview and a price. The send must match the price and the recipient that you saw. A send seconds after the preview is refused. The same letter is not sent twice by mistake. The sender name comes from your account.
Price
The price is the full price for printing, envelope and postage.
| Service | 1 page | 3 pages |
|---|---|---|
| Registered letter (bpost recommandé / aangetekend) | €13.90 | €14.50 |
| Standard letter (bpost Non-priority) | €2.90 | €3.50 |
Longer letters cost more. The preview shows the full price before you approve.
Enclosures, such as a copy of an invoice, add pages. You upload them on a page that your AI app links to (PDF, JPEG or PNG, up to 3 files). A letter to Belgium has at most 10 pages, enclosures included.
Delivery time
Our print partner (Pingen) prints the letter and hands it to the post on the same or the next business day, depending on the time of your order. Then bpost usually needs 1–2 business days for a registered letter and 2–3 business days for a standard letter. These are usual times, not guarantees.
What you get afterwards
- Status: ask your AI app at any time. It shows where the letter is: accepted, printing, or handed to the post.
- Tracking number: as soon as the post gives one. With it, you follow the letter on the post's website.
- A record of your send: what you approved, when, and for which price.
- Cancel: you can stop a letter until it is printed.
- Planned: an e-mail at each step, and bpost's receipt and delivery record.
If nobody is at home, bpost leaves a notice. The recipient can collect the letter at a post office or Post Point within 15 calendar days (bpost). If the post cannot deliver a letter, it is destroyed. It does not come back to you. The status shows "undeliverable".
FAQ
Does it prove that the letter arrived?
Not on its own. The receipt proves the posting. Only an acknowledgement of receipt proves the delivery, and we do not offer it yet.
Does the letter carry my signature?
No. The letter carries your typed name, not a handwritten signature. Where a law or a contract asks for a signed letter, our letter is not enough: print, sign and post that letter yourself.
Does it prove what I wrote?
No. It records the posting and the delivery, not the content. Save the PDF preview as your copy.
Can I send from Germany, Austria or the US?
Yes. A letter to Belgium can come from any of 33 countries: the EU, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and the United States.

Use it with Claude, ChatGPT, Grok or Mistral Vibe
Add Agent Letter Desk to your AI app once, with this server URL: https://agentletterdesk.com/mcp
- Claude (claude.ai, desktop and mobile): Add to Claude opens Claude with the name and the URL filled in. Select Add, then Connect. Sign in and allow access, then turn the connector on in a chat. By hand: Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector, then paste the URL.
- ChatGPT (chatgpt.com): Plugins › Add › Add custom MCP server. Paste the URL, choose OAuth, sign in and allow access. Custom MCP servers are not available on every ChatGPT plan.
- Grok (grok.com): Plugins (Connectors) › New connector › Custom. Enter a name and paste the URL. Sign in and allow access in the window that opens. In a chat, type @ and pick Agent Letter Desk (Grok uses a connector only when you select it).
- Mistral Vibe (chat.mistral.ai, formerly Le Chat): Connectors › Add custom connector. Enter a name without spaces, such as AgentLetterDesk, and paste the URL. Sign in and allow access. In a chat, select + › Connectors › Agent Letter Desk (without this step, Mistral Vibe may write the letter itself). Works on the free plan.
You sign in with your e-mail address or your Google account. Before the launch, only invited testers can create an account. Everyone else can join the waitlist. Then ask your AI for the letter. You check the preview and the price. Nothing goes out without your yes.
