This page is for you if you live in one of our 33 sender countries and need a recorded letter to a person, a company, a landlord or an authority in Spain. Your AI app writes the letter with you. We print it and hand it to the Spanish post in your name: Correos, or Hispapost in some postcode areas. You skip the post office.
What the registered letter records
We send a Registered letter with signature (Correos carta certificada). Correos gives each letter a barcode and records it. The letter is handed over against the signature of the addressee or of the person who accepts it (Correos, in Spanish). You get a tracking number. We cannot get Correos's signed delivery record for you yet; this is planned. Correos also sells extras, such as an electronic proof of delivery. We do not offer them.
A registered letter does not prove what the letter says. Save the PDF preview as your copy: we do not keep it. We also send a Standard letter (Correos carta ordinaria): we record when the post receives the letter, and the post does not record the delivery.
When it is worth it
- The recipient has no e-mail address or does not answer, for example the landlord of a flat or the community of owners of your holiday home.
- You may have to show that your letter arrived, for example before a deadline in a contract.
- You withdraw from a purchase made online, by phone or at your door, usually within 14 days (Your Europe). It is in time if you send it before the period ends, and you must be able to prove that you withdrew (Directive 2011/83/EU, Article 11).
- A contract, the recipient or an authority asks for a letter.
A standard letter is enough when you only need the letter to be sent. More: When a letter is the right choice.
How it works
Connect once. In your AI app, add Agent Letter Desk as a connector and paste
https://agentletterdesk.com/mcp. Our sign-in page opens. Sign in with Google or with a code that we send by e-mail. Enter your full name once, then allow the access.Ask. Tell your AI app who gets the letter, the address in Spain and what the letter must say. It asks for anything that is missing, such as a contract number or a date. It writes in Spanish unless you ask for another language. For example:
Send a registered letter to the community of owners of my holiday flat in Alicante. The roof above my flat has leaked since the storm in September. Ask for a repair within 30 days. Write it in Spanish.
Check the preview and the price. Your AI app shows a link to the PDF preview, the recipient, the service, what it records and the price. The PDF is exactly what we print.
Say yes. Our print partner prints the letter and hands it to the post.
Our server, not only your AI app, enforces the rules. No letter goes out without a preview and a price. The send must match the price and the recipient that you saw. A send seconds after the preview is refused. The same letter is not sent twice by mistake. The sender name comes from your account.
Price
The price is the full price for printing, envelope and postage.
| Service | 1 page | 3 pages |
|---|---|---|
| Registered letter with signature (Correos carta certificada) | €8.90 | €9.50 |
| Standard letter (Correos carta ordinaria) | €2.90 | €3.50 |
Longer letters cost more. The preview shows the full price before you approve.
Enclosures, such as a copy of a contract, add pages. You upload them on a page that your AI app links to (PDF, JPEG or PNG, up to 3 files). A letter to Spain has at most 10 pages, enclosures included.
Delivery time
Our print partner (Pingen) prints the letter and hands it to the post on the same or the next business day, depending on the time of your order. Then Correos usually needs 2–4 business days for a registered letter and 2–4 business days for a standard letter. In some postcode areas, the private postal company Hispapost delivers instead of Correos; this can take one business day longer (Pingen). These are usual times, not guarantees.
What you get afterwards
- Status: ask your AI app at any time. It shows where the letter is: accepted, printing, or handed to the post.
- Tracking number: as soon as the post gives one. Where Hispapost delivers, there may be no online tracking at the post.
- A record of your send: what you approved, when, and for which price.
- Cancel: you can stop a letter until it is printed.
- Planned: an e-mail at each step, and Correos's signed delivery record.
Where Correos delivers and nobody is at home, Correos leaves a notice, and the recipient can collect the letter at the post office for 15 days (Correos). If the post cannot deliver a letter, it is destroyed. It does not come back to you. The status shows "undeliverable".
FAQ
Is this a real carta certificada?
Yes. It is the post's own product. We print the letter and hand it to the post through our print partner. We are not the post.
Does the letter carry my signature?
No. The letter carries your typed name, not a handwritten signature. Where a law or a contract asks for a signed letter, our letter is not enough: print, sign and post that letter yourself.
Does it prove what I wrote?
No. It records the delivery and the signature, not the content. Save the PDF preview as your copy. If you must also prove the content, Correos offers a burofax with a certification of content ("certificación de contenido"). Correos says that it has legal value as proof towards third parties (Correos: Burofax, in Spanish). We do not offer burofax.
Can I send from Germany, Austria or the US?
Yes. A letter to Spain can come from any of 33 countries: the EU, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and the United States.
